Distances from Gouves to

Anopolis is a small picturesque village located just three kilometers south from Kato Gouves and almost 15 kilometres from downtown Heraklion. From the old village of Hersonisos to Anopolis the distance is about 16 kilometers.

Here are some pictures from our visit to Anopolis Heraklion Crete village and the Agios Ioannis Theologos Monastery in the outskirts of the village.

Gouves seaside village has many tourist facilities and a calm environment, away from the noisy world in Heraklion, Hersonissos and Malia. Gouves coastline extends to over four kilometers offering a tremendous selection of beaches and some spots with spectacular sea views.
